The concept
A link insertion places your URL into an article that already exists. The appeal is speed and the chance to appear on an indexed page with established visibility. The risk is ending up on aged, heavily monetised, or thematically weak content.
When insertions are justified
Insertions make sense when your resource fills a genuine gap: a definition, a tool, a study, or a deeper explainer the article already points toward. If the surrounding copy needs to be rewritten heavily just to force a mention, guest content may be cleaner.
Quality checks
Review the host page’s purpose, outbound links, update history, and whether the site still maintains editorial standards. Reject pages that exist primarily as link inventory.
